REBOOT 2020
“Join us on October 13, 2022, in Miami for Lincoln’s annual REBOOT conference exploring the intersection of tech and policy.”
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
COVID-19 has accelerated trends that have forced Silicon Valley and Washington, D.C. to confront their inability to build new institutions to confront the challenges of the 2020s. Are we still the nation of big ideas and grand projects, or will other countries (and their companies) carry history forward?
Over three days, Lincoln Network will bring together technologists, founders, politicos, policymakers, and investors – with sessions featuring presentations from leading voices in technology and policy. Day One will discuss the future of tech policy in Washington, D.C. following a historically contentious election. Day Two will focus on a Silicon Valley upended by COVID-19 and a bipartisan backlash against technology’s impact on society. Day Three will explore the future of a news industry disrupted by technological change.
Session topics will include the backlash against Big Tech, the growing threat from China, tensions between the press and the tech industry, bringing innovation from bits to atoms, and how the U.S. can advance the cause of innovation and progress amidst fears of societal and technological stagnation.
Registration is free, but you must sign up separately for each day. Click the links above for each day, or keep scrolling for details.
“In spite of the opinions of certain narrow-minded people, who would shut up the human race upon this globe…we shall one day travel to the moon, the planets, and the stars.”
